Jarret Paul

Jarret Paul has returned to skating this year after a year or so hiatus and has come back strong and on a mission. Jarret has impressed us most by his dedication and commitment this year. Jarret has only missed ONE practice this entire season and has been a leader to most every skater on the Stardust Team in Tampa. Jarret has been assisting with the newer and younger skaters as an inspiration and teaching them how important it is to be at practice and to always try your hardest. He has been demonstrating how proper technique can help you to be the best you can be. He is under the direction of World Champion and Stardust Coach Jorge Botero as he is working to bring his Outdoor Technique to the levels to make the US World Team this year in hopes of placing at world's in Venezuela in September! Jarret was rewarded this year for his hard work and dedication by being asked to join the POWERSLIDE USA Pro Team and has been showing great hopes for his sponsor as well. Jarret dedicates most of his achievements to USANA health products which have definitely gotten Jarret on the right track and will hopefully be leading him to many championships throughout the year. Great Job Jarret and congratulations to the January 2010 Skater of the Month, the first skater of the month of the decade!

April 2009

Taylor Mueller & Anna Jones

This Month’s Skater of the Month was a tough decision because there were actually TWO people who were Stars in the Stardust team, so we decided as a whole that the only fair way to select the SKATER OF THE MONTH was to have CO-SKATERS OF THE MONTH!

The Coaches and staff of the Stardust Speed Club would like to congratulate both Taylor Mueller and Anna Jones who have been chosen as the April Skaters Of The Month!

Both have shown exemplary performance and dedication to the Stardust Team and are both deserving of this honor!

Taylor Mueller, a Freshman Girl with the Stardust Speed Club, has been working hard to advance in the freshman division and at the St. Patrick’s Day Meet in Lawrenceville Georgia this month, Taylor Shined as a Star! She showed all about giving your all as she pushed through every race and overcame obstacles and girls who were leaders in this division. Taylor showed how much of a force she can be as well as true STARDUST SPRIRIT and was a driving force the entire competition. Coaches and Parents were all congratulating her and commending her on her spectacular performance. Taylor showed what she has learned though the years from her Coach and father Ed Mueller. Taylor is a great skater and a friend to many. Thank You Taylor for being outstanding and a pleasure to work with!

The Second Skater of the Month, is ANNA JONES. Anna came to Stardust this year from the South Florida Blades where she was coached by her father CJ Jones and Veteran Coach Harry Stuart. Anna has been a pleasure to have around as she is consistent in delivering her utmost best and pushing past pain and obstacles to advance herself in her skating career. Anna drives to practice from Ft. Pierce Florida 2 days per week and gives her all every practice. Anna has also shown unheard of Team Spirit as she did this past month in helping our team members to attend the Georgia Meet and even going as far as to DRIVE to TAMPA to pick up one of our skaters and then drive them back to ORLANDO to Practice at our Semoran rink, and the next morning head to Georgia to Skate the St. Patrick’s Day Meet! Anna not only won her division but her relays as well. Dominating the field and showing just how strong she is getting in time for regionals and Nationals this year. Who knows, we might even see an outdoor nationals performance from Anna! Anna, thank you for your dedication and your shining as a star in the night. Your dedication and Team Spirit is honorable and should be noted by all! Congratulations to the both of you and good luck to all of the Stardust Speed Team Members from Tampa, West Palm, and Orlando at the Tampa Classic.
