Well here we are the and we are all well under way! This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Stardust Speed Club and there are some huge celebrations and festivities being planned, especially based around this years 31st Tampa Classic Speed Invitational to take place April 9-12, 2009. Last year's Tampa Classic is in the history books and one of the most exciting meets ever as skaters from all over the world converged in Tampa Florida for what turned out to be a showdown as world champions came out of the wood work to be there! Alexis Contin from France, Kalon Dobbin from New Zeland, Andres Munoz from Colombia, and of course joined by the Luigino/Answer super powers world champion Joey Mantia, Michael Cheeks, and Harry Vogel. WOW, what an invitational with most everyone vowing to come back this year to stake their claim at the championship title of the Tampa Classic. This year I am hearing that the girls are coming!
